Roni has 15 years experience providing mental health services to culturally diverse youth, families and adults and working in conjunction with several bay area agencies including schools, outpatient clinics, substance abuse programs, residential and day treatment programs, County Juvenile Probation and County Mental Health.  The bulk of her experience has focused on adolescent issues in school and residential settings and clinical supervision to trainees and interns. Roni holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Feminist Psychology and Multiculturalism.  She also has a private practice in San Francisco seeing adolescents and young adults.

Katie holds a masters of arts degree in counseling psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA. Prior to joining ACS in 2008, she was a clinician at Esther B. Clark School (part of Children's Health Council in Palo Alto) providing individual, group and family psychotherapy to special needs children and adolescents. In addition, Katie has over eight years of experience working in public school settings, non-profit agencies and leading substance abuse and parenting groups.She is a licensed marriage and family therapist and has a private practice in Palo Alto.

Christopher Chiochios, MFT, ATR-BC, has worked in the mental health field since 1997. He received his Master’s Degree in art therapy and marriage and family therapy from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont. Mr. Chiochios has been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2003 and became a board certified Art Therapist in 2006. Throughout the last 13 years, Mr. Chiochios has worked primarily with children and teens, who are considered at-risk and have unique and complex needs, as well as their families, who are often multi-stressed and struggling to cope in many areas of their lives. He has provided these services in a variety of settings, including public schools, special education/day treatment programs, foster care and residential treatment programs, and in the community. Mr. Chiochios has experience serving a wide range of backgrounds and issues, related to family, home, community, peer or school-related stressors and struggles. His work has been fueled by the deep and enriching relationships that he has developed and shared with clients and their families, who have had such resilience and perseverance to create anew in spite of the many limitations and recurring struggles they have endured.

    Martha Chan, LMFT, received her MA in Psychology from San Jose State University. Martha worked for ACS for 13 years as the Director of Caravan House, On-Campus Program Director, and Clinical Director of both the On-Campus Counsleing Program and Caravan House. After leaving in 2001 to pursue a successful private practce, Martha has returned to ACS as a site director at Terman Middle School supervising interns who have provided direct services to students and assisting the students' parents in addressing the complexities of adolescence. She previously worked as a Practicum Supervisor at Santa Clara University's Division of Counseling Psychology & Education, as well as a Marriage, Family and Child Counselor at the Santa Clara County Mental Health Department and as a Supervisor and Therapeutic Team Leader for Rehabilitation Mental Health Services in San Jose.

Rom Brafman, Ph.D. is a counseling psychologist who also has a private practice in Palo Alto. He takes a humanistic approach to psychotherapy and focuses on empowering the client. Rom also values the dynamics of interpersonal relationships, especially as they pertain to the healing process.

    Debbie has approximately 20 years experience working with pre-teens and teens in various settings. Over the past ten years, Debbie has worked with youth in various settings, including schools, group and private practice. Most recently Debbie worked with youth in a Sunnyvale middle school. Debbie’s approach is strength and systems based with some focus on Cognitive Behavioral techniques. Debbie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago.

Jennifer Jones is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 17 years of experience working with children and families in the Bay Area.  She has a BA in Clinical & Counseling Psychology from San Jose State and an MSW from UC Berkeley.  Jennifer’s career began in a group home for autistic adolescents in 1988.  Since then she has worked in adolescent residential and day treatment programs, public mental health and social service agencies, non-profit community counseling agencies and a hospital NICU.  Prior to joining ACS, Jennifer supervised MSW and MFT Interns at Community Health Awareness Council and she maintains a small private practice in Mountain View.  In her free time Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her children’s school, skiing, camping, running, and yoga.

Sabrina has over 12 years of experience working in the mental health field. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor. Sabrina has vast experience providing counseling, case management, outreach and support to youth, parents, teachers, and administration within various school settings, including the Tamalpais Union High School District, the Novato Unified School District, and the Sausalito/Marin School District.  As in independent contractor through the Military & Family Life Consultant Program, Sabrina also provided short-term counseling support to military children (grades K-12) around a number of issues including: stress management, multiple transitions, relocation, peer relationships, and family dynamics.

Over the past 16 years, Ms. Villemoes has gained extensive experience working as a therapist in elementary, middle and high schools, with both mainstream and Special Education programs. She also worked for nine years at EMQ Families First, as a Clinician at the School Program for Emotionally Disturbed Teenagers, and Clinical Coordinator for School-based and Intensive Transition Services. She has experience using different therapy methods such as: play therapy, art therapy, narrative, gestalt therapy, and CBT.

    Connie has an impressive 25-year history of providing professional counseling services to youth and families in the Bay Area. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, as well as a Master’s Degree in Counseling, from San Francisco State University and has been licensed by the State of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 1986. Before joining ACS, Connie was the Clinical Director at New Pathways Counseling Center at Catholic Social Services (CSS) in Vallejo, California. At New Pathways, Connie was directly responsible for managing all counseling services at three clinic sites in Solano County; Benicia, Vallejo, and Vacaville, including Crisis Clinician Domestic Violence Supervision and Consultation, Domestic Violence Program support and Parent Education Classes. Prior to her position at New Pathways, Connie was the Licensed Clinician / Program Leader -- Intensive Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Program at New Connections in Concord, California. Connie has also held the position of Adjunct Faculty Member at JFK University – Graduate School of Professional Psychology in Pleasant Hill, California.
