On-Campus Counseling Program

If you are a teen living on the Peninsula and need somebody to talk to, check out our On-Campus Counseling Program.

ACS counselors are available on six local public school campuses to provide support to students experiencing a wide range of issues: communication with parents; conflict with friends; academic stress; relationships; depression and anxiety; substance use and abuse; grief and loss, and much more.

ACS provides counseling, education and support groups at no cost to you or your family on the following campuses:

  • Palo Alto High School
  • Gunn High School
  • Woodside High School
  • Redwood High School
  • JLS Middle School
  • Jordan Middle School
  • Terman Middle School
  • La Entrada Middle School

ACS also provides bilingual counseling in a variety of languages, including Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Russian.

ACS counselors are trusted adults that will truly listen to what you have to say, work to understand your concerns and give you guidance around the issues that you are concerned with. Your conversations are confidential and will not be shared unless there is a safety risk.
