Adolescent Counseling Services takes flight for the next 30 years at April 22 Spring Sounds GALA
Palo Alto Mayor Judy Kleinberg to MC Adolescent Counseling Services' Gala

Palo Alto, CA, March 15, 2006 — Adolescent Counseling Services (ACS), 2005 recipient of the Tall Tree Award for Outstanding Nonprofit, will host its annual Spring Sounds Gala on Saturday, April 22 from 6:30 to 11:00 p.m. at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara.  Join ACS at the annual Spring Sounds Gala for an evening of fun, dinner, dancing, auctions and live entertainment.

This year’s theme, “Taking Flight for the Next 30 Years,” has ACS supporters looking to the future.  Spring Sounds “Taking Flight” is the culmination of a year of agency festivities commemorating 30 years of service to the community in helping teens find their way.  ACS hopes to raise more than $100,000 to support the agency’s three primary programs, providing school counseling, group home care and substance abuse treatment for at-risk teens and families.

The Event Co-chairs, Sanam Saaber and Susan Jewkes, are both pleased to be working with a dedicated team of volunteers in support of ACS.  The evening will feature Palo Alto Mayor Judy Kleinberg as MC, live performances by cabaret and jazz artist Russ Lorenson and The Kelly Park Trio, and students from the Gunn High School Music Department.  Raffle and auction highlights include private dinner parties, weekend getaways, fine jewelry and great gadgets for you and your family.

For ticket and event information, please call (650) 424-0852, ext. 103 or email giving@acs-teens.org.  Tickets are limited this year, so please reserve early and don’t be left out!
