ACS Publishes 99 Tips for Talking With Your Teenager
The Peninsula's top local mental health professionals share their expertise.

Adolescent Counseling Services is giving local parents an opportunity to receive a free copy of 99 Tips, a guide for improving communication and building positive relationships with 11- through 19-year-olds, when they sign up for ACS’s mailing list. The 24-page booklet includes strategies to help parents and adolescents develop important dialogue skills at this crucial time in their relationship.

“Talking with teenagers can be tough,” says Executive Director Philippe Rey, Psy.D. “We’re happy to be able to provide parents with some ways to effectively communicate with their teens.”

Ninety-nine Tips contains input from 28 local experts, including mental health professionals and service leaders in our community. The complete list of contributors and their contact information is also included in the booklet.
ACS has already received hundreds of requests from parents in the PAUSD middle and high schools, Menlo-Atherton High School and other local schools. Ninety-nine Tips is now available, and will continue to be available as long as the supply lasts.
To order your free copy of 99 Tips, please submit your name, address, email and phone number to:
