Dr. Philippe Rey first joined Adolescent Counseling Services in 1998 as Caravan House Program Director. After three years at Caravan, he became a member of the executive team as Associate Director and has now been the agency's Executive Director since 2004. Philippe was born and raised in the French-speaking region of Switzerland and came to the United States in 1984 to attend the University of California at San Diego. In 1997 his doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in child and family therapy was conferred by Alliant International University in San Diego. Before pursuing graduate studies and a career in psychology, Philippe graduated from business school in Sion, Switzerland. Philippe operates an "Underground Dining" establishment which has served as a cultivation & fundraising vehicle for ACS since 2011.

Kelsey Moon

KelseyMoon (she/her/hers) has been with ACS for a total of 3 years. She began as a practicum student then returned to supervise for ASAT. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of Washington, and then went on to pursue her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University with a specialized focus in forensic psychology. She has a passion for working with at-risk youth, particularly those struggling with substance use. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, camping, hiking, reading, and spending time with her cat, Khaleesi.

Ariana Chini

Ariana Chini (she/they) is a queer, nonbinary Middle Eastern and Muslim professional with over a decade of experience supporting LGBTQ+ youth and communities across higher education, legal, and nonprofit spaces. As the Outlet Program Manager, Ariana brings deep experience in trauma-informed care, program development, community collaboration, and identity-affirming support services.
They previously served as the LGBTQ+ Case Manager at the San Mateo County Pride Center, where they provided wraparound services to youth and adults navigating housing, healthcare, and systems of marginalization. Ariana has also managed university-based LGBTQ+ and multicultural centers, including the University of Washington Bothell Diversity Center and Seattle University's Office of Multicultural Affairs. In these roles, they developed intersectional peer mentorship programs, coordinated campus-wide events like Drag Brunch and social justice conferences, and supported LGBTQ+, BIPOC, immigrant, and first-gen students in navigating college life and identity.
A Bay Area native and longtime peninsula resident, Ariana is passionate about cultivating safe, joyful, and empowering spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth to thrive. Outside of work, they love playing Dungeons & Dragons, video games, reading queer literature, and spending time with their wife and two cats, Barnacle and Mango.

Elizabeth Harris
On-Campus Counseling Program Director
Elizabeth Harris (she/her) has been with Adolescent Counseling Services (ACS) for over five years. She began her journey with ACS as an intern with the Siena Youth Center and ASAT Programs, later serving as Program Manager for the Las Lomitas Elementary School District and Woodside High School. She now serves as the Director of ACS’s On-Campus Counseling Programs. Elizabeth grew up in Nashville and earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas. Before entering the counseling field, she worked for a global consulting firm and spent two years living in Argentina. Throughout her life, she has been an active volunteer and community leader. She holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, with a focus on Community Mental Health, from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Elizabeth is passionate about serving and supporting the diverse needs of youth and families in a culturally sensitive and compassionate way. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, traveling, playing board games, and spending time in nature with family and friends. She and her family share their home with a dog and three cats.

Pace Gatherer
Program Manager for the Los Altos School District
Pace (she or they) serves as the Program Manager for the on-campus counseling program in the Los Altos School District through Adolescent Counseling Services. In this role, they support a team of school-based therapists and collaborate with district leaders to ensure students receive high-quality, culturally responsive mental health care. Originally from Hollister, California, Pace has long been rooted in the Bay Area and is deeply committed to serving its diverse youth and families. They earned their Masters of Science in Psychology with a focus on Marriage and Family Therapy from Cal State East Bay and bring clinical experience working with children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence, and identity development. Pace brings a strong commitment to youth mental health, with an emphasis on culturally responsive, and strengths-based care. Before stepping into the Program Manager role, they worked as a school-based therapist with ACS, offering direct counseling services to elementary students. Their therapeutic work centers the unique needs of each child, often using play therapy, grounding techniques, and narrative approaches. Prior to joining ACS, Pace led after-school programs at BAWSI, where they served girls from under-resourced neighborhoods and children with disabilities, using sports to foster resilience and confidence. They also held leadership roles in the arts and culture sector, gaining valuable experience in nonprofit management, and community engagement. Passionate about equity and access, Pace is especially dedicated to supporting queer youth, marginalized populations, and families navigating complex systems. They believe deeply in the power of collaboration between school teams, caregivers, and community partners to create environments where all young people can thrive.

Andrea Delariyala

Andrea Delariyala (she/her/they/them) has been with ACS for the past three years. She originally started working with ACS as a trainee and then as an intern in the On-Campus Counseling Program and Community Counseling Program. She currently serves as the Site Coordinator for the On-Campus Counseling Program at Siena Youth Center, in addition to continuing with direct client work through the Community Counseling Program. She is a second generation Mexican and Puerto-Rican American who grew up in the Bay Area and is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor working towards licensure. After receiving her Bachelor’s in Psychology from UCSC, she spent time working with at-risk youth and their families as a Mental Health Counselor and One-on-One Counselor at Seneca Family of Agencies before returning to school to obtain her Master’s in Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur. She continues to be passionate about serving youth and families and providing access to mental health resources. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their pets, going to the movies, listening to the sound of the waves at local beaches, and spending time with friends while playing tabletop RPGs.

Hunter Fredericksen

Philippe Rey, Sep 27, 10:27 AM Hunter Fredericksen (They/Them) is a trans masculine nonbinary Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about supporting youth in exploring their identities, building resilience, and finding embodiment. Originally from Orange County, Hunter earned their Bachelor's degrees in Criminology and Psychology & Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine. Before returning to the field of psychology, Hunter worked for several years as an optician, serving elderly clients in skilled nursing homes and rehabilitation centers throughout Southern California. Called back to their passion for mental health, Hunter recently completed a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an LGBTQ+ counseling emphasis at Santa Clara University, driven by a commitment to better serve marginalized communities. Hunter began their journey with Adolescent Counseling Services as a clinical intern through both the Outlet Program and the On-Campus Counseling Program at Woodside High School. They are especially drawn to working with trans and nonbinary youth and are committed to creating affirming spaces for clients navigating intersecting identities, including gender, disability, learning differences, and other experiences of marginalization. Outside of their clinical work, Hunter finds joy in hiking adventures, working out, playing board games, and spending quality time in nature with friends and family.

Clare Healy
Program Manager for the Los Altos School District
Clare Healy (she/her) joined the ACS team in 2024. Though originally born in California, Clare spent time abroad, gaining her postgraduate certificate in counseling through the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, UK. She then continued on to obtain her Masters in Applied Psychology in Positive Psychology and Coaching at The University College Cork in Cork, Ireland, before returning back to California to become certified as a recovery life coach and a Registered Behavior Technician on the central coast. She spent the 2023-2024 school year as a School Counselor at a private school in Palo Alto before accepting the opportunity to join the ACS team. Clare is passionate about helping clients develop self-awareness in emotional and mental well-being to achieve the best possible level of life satisfaction and well-being possible. During her free time, Clare enjoys going on adventures; whether it’s hiking the mountains, exploring lakes, rivers, and the coasts, or finding a new delicious coffee shop or food spot to indulge in. Clare also enjoys practicing yoga, tinkering on the piano, and immersing herself in as many books as possible.

Yoselin Zavala Lopez

Yoselin Zavala Lopez (she/her/hers) joined ACS in 2020. She holds a B.A. in Gender & Sexuality Studies and Media & Cultural Studies from University of California, Riverside. She developed a passion for not only advocating for social justice and equity for marginalized groups but also, uplifting and empowering their voices in safe and accepting spaces. Having lived in the Bay Area her whole life, she decided to implement her knowledge and passion in a community that she considers home. She dedicated her summers in between college working as a law clerk in the Domestic Violence and Immigration Unit at Bay Area Legal Aid and later, as a Learning and Development Intern at Stanford Children’s Health. She spends her free time reading romance books, discovering new music and going to music festivals, and spending time with her family, friends, and her cat, Charlie.

Taylor Rokala

Taylor Rokala (they/them/theirs) joined Adolescent Counseling Services in 2025 as an Outreach Coordinator for the Outlet team. They grew up in San Mateo and graduated from Occidental College with a B.A. in Critical Theory and Social Justice. Pursuing their passion for advocacy, Taylor has interned at Interfaith Refugee & Immigration Service and Muslim Public Affairs Counsel, in addition to on-campus advocacy through Oxy Sexual Assault Coalition and Students for Justice in Palestine. Taylor enjoys exploring different art mediums, most recently tufting and clothing design.

Cassy Perera

Cassy joined ACS' Development Department in 2016. She holds a BA in Social Work from UC Berkeley and has experience working in education, community organizing, & grassroots fundraising. She first discovered a knack for fundraising while working on a children's health insurance campaign in Boise, Idaho and honed her skills later at the American Cancer Society in San Jose. Her favorite part about her job is finding creative ways to communicate the urgency of ACS' work and igniting others' passion for adolescent mental health. In her free time Cassy can be found perfecting Indonesian recipes, playing the banjo, or exploring nature with her beagle, Mochi.

Jennifer Pagano

Jennifer has 17 years of experience working in both non-profit and corporate environments. She was an editor at a leading legal publishing company and Marketing Manager at a national law firm. In 2000, Jennifer returned to the non-profit world, working as a development consultant for Stanford University. After this, she was hired by the Family Violence Law Center in Oakland, CA as a Development Coordinator. In 2005, Jennifer joined ACS as its Grant Writer and is now the agency's Foundation and Corporate Grants Officer. Jennifer has also severed as a development consultant to various non-profits located throughout CA and as a federal grant reviewer. Jennifer received her B.A. in Literature, with Honors, from UCSC and her J.D. from Golden Gate University Law School. Jennifer enjoys running, swimming, and spending time with her husband and two children.
