Alex Basche
Alex Basche is a Bay Area psychotherapist and clinical consultant with nearly 15 years of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and families. His clinical work specializes in technology-related behavioral addictions, including problematic gaming, social media use, and other forms of compulsive digital behavior, as well as substance use and commonly co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, neurodivergence, crisis management, and parenting issues. Alex helped establish California’s first in-network intensive outpatient program focused on technology addiction in adolescents and has developed extensive clinical curricula and professional trainings related to behavioral addictions, parenting, and adolescent mental health. He has also contributed to international research and conference presentations on digital addiction and has served as a subject-matter expert for Fairplay’s Children’s Screentime Action Network. Alex earned his M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University and is proud to support ACS’s mission of improving the well-being of young people and families throughout the community.
